When you look through the list of services, remember that this is usually a therapy based massage practice, not a spa, so I don’t charge more in the sessions for ‘deep tissue’ or any other modality. EVERY session is customized to what you want. Even if you don’t know what you want, when you trust me to ‘do what we need to do’  and  draw on the knowledge and training that has been gained in continuing education classes to use the most effective modalities to reach your predetermined goals. Because the mission is to complete your wellness goals in this manner, we base our prices on a flat rate of $100 per hour. Sports Massage

Sports Massage Therapy focuses on the muscle groups you use most and is effective in improving flexibility and preventing injuries. Massage can also be helpful in treating sports related injuries. A regular massage routine is an invaluable tool to shorten recovery between workouts, relieve fatigue,and help athletes stay injury free and on target with their goals. Every session is specific to the person or athlete's injury. All modalities known to therapist could be used during the session to get the results the client and therapist discuss in initial consult. Some benefits you can receive from the session include: reduced muscle tension, increased range of motion, enhanced athletic performance, improved tissue function, decreased muscle stiffness and fatigue, and aid in recovery.

Cupping

A vacum therapy that creates a suction and vacum pressure, and is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesion, and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, move deep inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and opening lymphatic pathways.

 

Note: The skin can turn red with strong movements, indicating that circulation has been brought to the surface.

 

Benefits include: Increased local blood supply, tense muscles softened quickly and easily, release restrictions in fascia and scar tissue, and also used in preparation and recovery from surgical procedures.

RPR (Reflexive Performance Reset)

The RPR System starts by testing what your body is now with simple strength and flexibility tests, so change can be measured later. The next step is to reset your body into breathing correctly, once breathing correctly, we test the rest of your patterns, and if need be, reset your body into performance mode. once you are reset into performance mode, you will experience reduced aches & pains, increased flexibility and be more resilient to injury.

 

your body has two priorities for optimal performance; to breathe and move correctly. most athletes do not, so their bodies find a way to meet those priorities by creating harmful compensation patterns.  utilizing specialized "wake up" drills we can shift your body out of these patterns.

Rossiter

The Rossiter System is a series of powerful and effective techniques for addressing structural pain and restrictions of movement at it's source, the body's fascia, ligaments and tendons, collagen, elastin- collectively called connective tissue. Tight connective tissue is the source of stress, immobility, and pain in the body. Lower back pain, hip pain, shoulder pain are all quick and easy targets to get rid of pain in those and many other areas. The body-wide "locking" technique and weight work together to loosen tight tissues with unprecedented speed, safety and profound results.
